I preferred the favorites on the same page as well. I currently can view all my board marks and all my favorite people on one page without scrolling and it was very handy to see this info "at a glance". Now I have to click tabs to see the info and this is not as convenient.

Maybe make this an Option to have tabbed favorites or "Classic Style Favorites" where all are on a single page? That would be ideal for all :)
