Follow-Up Blog Review

This is kind of interesting. This post is from a reviewer that had already gone to uWink back in March. I commented on that review (linked to this post). I was surprised to find out that the reviewer updated her post (http://www.saltinwound.com/2008/03/uwink.html) with my comments!

There are some interesting comments on the saltinwound blog within the two uWink reviews (I commented in the 2nd one). While there is definitely a negative feeling towards uWink from the bloggers, it seems mostly justified. I have some friends that have visited uWink within the last two months and it seems that the quality of service and games has gone down considerably.

My only justification is that all resources are being devoted to making the H&H uWink the best thing ever. But I am now concerned about no "official" announcements on when this is going to open! We better hear something from uWink by May 15th. I will be really upset if we don't.

It's one thing to announce that a restaurant will open at a certain time (early May in this case), and to open it later. It's much worse when not only the restaurant does not open, but there isn't even a follow-up announcement within that timeframe on how long it will be delayed! Let's hope we hear SOMETHING this week.

It's been "early May" for over a week. I haven't been this concerned since just prior to the uWink receiving the $9 million in funding.
