On the issue of whether Neoreader will come "pre-loaded" on the new iphone, I really think people need to review this as it seems to provide the justification for Neomedia's efforts to develop a Neoreader iphone application:

http://seekingalpha.com/article/50217-apple-opens-iphone-to-developers

At the above link you will find Steve Jobs' letter of October 2007, in which he said:

"We are excited about creating a vibrant third party developer community around the iPhone and enabling hundreds of new applications for our users....

We are working on an advanced system which will offer developers broad access to natively program the iPhone’s amazing software platform while at the same time protecting users from malicious programs.

We think a few months of patience now will be rewarded by many years of great third party applications running on safe and reliable iPhones.

Steve"

If this is some indication of what is going on, it could explain the shroud of secrecy that Neomedia has placed over its related development efforts.

Now read Diamondtech's AT&T "no vaction" post 142905, and have fun speculating.

BTW, I know absolutely nothing about what's really going on.
We all have been fooled (painfully fooled) enough by errant rumours and dot-connecting.
