OT - GLENO, how can you be so narrow-minded?
In Bahrain, the Grand Mosque is open to people of all religions every day. There are always people available
to show tourists around, answer questions about the architecture, the lay-out, the way the mosque is being used.
Only when someone asks a question about Islam, will islam
be discussed.
That is open-minded, reaching out.
Bahrain, a Muslim country, is sending a new ambasador to
the U.S., a Jewish woman from a well-respected Bahraini
family. Again open-minded.
Prejudice against Islam comes mainly from ignorance, reading
about it does not imply you abandon your own beliefs.
One more thing, Islam should not be judged by the behaviour of
Muslims, but Muslims should be judged by Islam.
