It would be nice. If a deal is made already. For example: so and so shares of bkmp for____shares or $. It will settle in a couple of days. Dealing with a nasdeq, amex, nyse stock. That would add more validity.
Gives shareholders an option to get out on a run. Or wait for the deal. imo
