the chatwires were buzzing re. a possible need to close a chemical plant due to it's proximity to residential neighborhoods. This question was addressed in the conference call, but will have to wait for transcript. Sounds like the issue will be resolved with an acquisition that is not ready for announcement (premature).

A question was raised about the very low operating expenses by a seasoned(?) money manager. The response basically sidestepped the question

I continue to believe this basic materials play is undervalued by the market. They need a better system for their conference calls and a more adept translator would help.

I don't think IR should be running interference during the Q&A although many clarifications would have been missed without him.
