A judge is going to base a decision on facts when it comes to a business.
The individuality they're able to show when it's a person to be sentenced has a bit of leniancy attached, which when it comes to a business there is not a face to put to it as the above, so facts will always rule 100%.
In the judge's mind it's .... no face to company employees
if said company provides employment, nor is there a concern
with the shareholdes as far as multiple faces. That's something he/she (the judge)will never have to deal with.
The only way shareholders have a "face" so to speak, is in
a class action law suit.
