What other production sites have they been talking about for the past 2 years?
When I began interested in Aurus, there was no site near Moscow. Recently, the tailings site has become the center of interest.
IMO, they realize that processing the tailings for a profit, is the fast track to funding for the 'real' mines. Their original plan was to have investors fund the mining operations, but 'Canuck Crooks' and 'pump and dump artists' have derailed their efforts.
Aurus management is again, this time very carefully, trying to establish a good relationship with investors. Toward the mutual goal of developing their resources.
There have been many claims lately that the properties are being shuffled around. I choose not to belive the conspiracy theorists who tout such claims. Aurus has many claims and potential mining sites available to them. Their original plans included the consolidation of properties under their investment vehicle or umbrella company. This would enable owners of mining properties in Russia to get development and production funding through investors in the US and Canada.
During the past two or more years, I have seen several, some well intentioned, posters dig through old internet files and bring so called 'facts' to light. This information has not only been outdated, but usually taken out of context. This has caused so much confusion that it is almost impossible to gleen the truth from this huge pile of guano being presented. In essence, it has forced people to become polarized. Most posters are either strong believers that Aurus is legit, or believers of the sham position.
Each time Aurus brings another property into the company, the said property has a history. People dig up that history and present it to this board as fact, and we all know what a fact is, or do we? Just because a past owner or claimed owner had an agreement 10 years ago, does not mean that Aurus is presently associated with that history.
Each property is obtained through compensation to the owner(s) of the property. Each time Aurus pays the owner for the property, they issue shares. That makes the issued share count increase. It also gives the past owner control of those shares. Aurus has no control over when shareholders sell their shares, but it is likely some of them have been sold for one reason or another.
What I'm trying to say is that everything I have seen about this company has a logical explanation. Sure, there have been transactions and news releases that are not transparent. There are language and interpretation problems. They tried to present proof of documents in a manner that non-Russian speaking people could understand and all they accomplished was to be branded as forgers.
There are many unknowns, but Aurus remains on track toward production and profitability, in spite of the derailments.
