I am hopeful for a partnership on good terms- sounds like if he doesnt get the terms he wants (e.g. someone wants more derisking data-wise), he may do a small raise.

Based upon the everything we know about Repros, I don't think a 'partnership' is in the offing. They've been clear from the getgo that their aim is to sell the drug or the company outright. There is no place for a royalty stream because there isn't even a downstream in the Repros model (AFAIK)! Most normal BP partnership deals would require that (a future company) to accept the proposed income/royalty stream.

Until something different happens, I'll continue to believe that JP is holding in order to sell a 'finished' product, and is not interested in considering the 'diamond in the rough' prices he's surely been offered. Not only would that fly in the face of all the facts we know about what Repros is about, but even if it were a normal biotech drug development co looking out 10-20 years... even in that instance, why would he dilute price against what he feels is a relatively solid drug?

I would repeat my view that bio-techs partner/license/sell their products as much to reduce risk to themselves as to raise needed funds to continue their quests. This is not that kind of a situation IMO, but I'm certainly open to a more sensible argument.
