Most of what you said ether has no support or s a complete lie. I know very well HFBV can be shorted. My broker said they do not allow it to be shorted, but they agreed that somebody is obviously allowing it to be shorted. Pretty much a no brainer I'd say. It's on the list, so it has been shorted.
