Smay,just follow the directions on the firmware in the tech support section that Tinroad posted.
I downloaded the zip file to my desk top
I plugged in the A/c adapter to the unit and plugged in the USB
I double clicked on the zip file and it asked me a couple of yes/ no questions and updated the system automatically.Smooth as silk!
As stated all I can see different is a XP3 logo on start up and the new version number in the menu. I have an e-mail into EMI tech support to find out why the upgrade is needed. I will post when they reply.
