The RadioShack Corporation, the consumer electronics retailer, posted a decline in first-quarter profit and sales on Monday.
Profit fell to $38.8 million, or 30 cents a share, on sales of $949 million, from $42.5 million, or 31 cents a share, on sales of $992 million a year earlier.
Sales at stores open at least a year fell 4 percent. Sales declines for Sprint wireless services offset gains for navigation systems, video gaming, digital cameras and media storage. Stock in RadioShack, which is based in Fort Worth, fell $2.37, to $15.13.
