Called on Iraqi President Jalal Talabani and his deputy, Adel Abdul-Mahdi to "impose law and order and inventory of weapons, however, state", and stressed the importance of addressing security problems by political means, as the presidential statement.

The statement received by the Independent News Agency (Voices of Iraq) a copy of which was that the Taliban and upon receiving his deputy Adel Abdel Mahdi, Tuesday afternoon at his residence in Baghdad "stressed the need to impose law and order and inventory of weapons, however, the State in addition to stress the importance of addressing security problems by political means."

The statement added that the two sides discussed "security and political issues of interest to the country" also "discussed the issue of Iraq's relations with neighboring countries and region and the world and ways to invest these relationships in order to serve strengthen the position of Iraq and the higher interest of the Iraqi people."

According to the statement also "had been discussed the latest developments in the course of restoration and development of government and stressed the importance of the return of Ministers Accord Front and its impact on the requirements of the current stage in terms of expanding political participation and reflect the collective leadership and strengthening the national balance."

The meeting comes at a time when negotiations are continuing between the government and the Iraqi Accord Front to persuade the latter to enter it after it withdrew them early last August, and then followed by another withdrawal of the Iraqi List headed by former Prime Minister Iyad Allawi, which has five seats in cabinet.

And operates Accord Front (44) seats of the total members of the House's (275), and is ranked third among the largest parliamentary bloc after the United Iraqi Alliance (83 seats) and the Kurdistan Alliance (55 seats), which represents Sunni participation in government and have five ministries.
