Iraqi Forces uncover weapons cache in Basra

Iraqi Military operation chief in Basra Colonel Mohan Al Fraiji announced that Iraqi Forces cracked down on a weapons cache holding in heavy and light weapons along with ammunitions, bombs, anti-armor rockets most of which are Iranian made.
Al Fraiji explained that the nature of these weapons and their extent point out to the intention of armed groups to strike Iraqi Forces and not US or British Forces.
British defense office official in Basra Colonel Richard Iron affirmed that British Forces will pursue support to Iraqi Forces in facing armed clashes.
The cache of weapons was uncovered in light of legitimate armed forces campaign to impose security and stability in Basra following fierce clashes in the city.
