OT: Whistler in December.

Shamantiks may have a different opinion, but I did a trip to Whistler about 10 years ago in late December/early January. It was very warm and had miserable conditions.

We spoke to some locals who said that late January into spring is your best bet for good conditions. I am sure every year is different, but it sounded like your odds were best later in the season.
