Angstrom Microsystems announced that it will be hosting its first financial forum for the advancement of environmentally-friendly data center technologies. The forum will be hosted on the first of May at the Langham Hotel in Boston, Mass. The company anticipates discussing and demonstrating the viability of an array of data center solutions while showcasing its energy saving liquid cooling technology.
Angstrom is currently implementing its liquid cooling solutions while simultaneously developing its next generation solutions, utilizing the feedback it’s receiving from Yahoo, Credit Suisse, Industrial Light & Magic, as well as other prominent companies. The company’s ground-breaking technology features several improvements over the legacy technology currently being used. Angstrom uses non-conducting, non-toxic, environmentally friendly liquid to effectively cool its blade servers.
The company is focused on providing blade servers and workstations distinctly purposed for the special effects industry. Offering both hardware and software solutions designed to significantly save on energy costs, Angstrom reduces the number of machines required to run processing tasks, allowing companies to save significant investments while reducing energy demand.
