SCIG v. IVIG. This is a good slide show that shows the advantages and disadvantages of SCIG v. IVIG. The interesting information starts around slide#20. Slides #31 & #32 summarize the pros and cons of SCIG v. IVIG. I would point out the advantage of SCIG providing a more balanced dosage of medication that the big peaks and troughs associated with less frequent IVIG administration:

Then this link here shows a Sweedish study that showed patients experienced a better quality of life with SCIG...and annual savings of $10,000/year/patient:

With the first SCIG (Vivaglobin) getting FDA approval in early 2006, I would expect that we will see several years of significant growth, given the significant advantages of SCIG over IVIG…..and the Freedom 60’s distinct advantages for administration of subcutaneous injections.
