The Teak Forest

Sing song words
Slapped on the page
Like a second grade ballad
Devoid of all rage
Ryhymed all together
Like soap box ads
My poetry reeks
But is it that bad
No one post here
So why even bother
Naive orphans
Look for their fathers
These words are worthless
And most of all weak
These thoughts in my mind
And some I do speak
What was I thinking
Would someone listen
To comfortable pain
And unfullfilled missions
Potential only half way reached
Why can't I have the other half!
Is it me or is it you
He replaced life with math
Numbers stop the leak for now
They plug the hole in his heart
I grow a little harder every day
When did the finish become the start

He has EVERYTHING...

Except the one thing he has asked God for for years..........
