Nashville Records Updates TriMark Status, Offers Share Dividend to Shareholders
Friday April 25, 9:20 am ET

NASHVILLE, TN--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 25, 2008 -- Nashville Records (Other OTC:NSHV.PK - News) today issued an update to its shareholders, with regards to the TriMark(TM) technology being designed to prevent piracy of illegally downloaded music and movies. Gene Sibbett, President, stated, "Meetings with prospective investors have gone well and investors have been impressed not only with the concept and critical need, but also the legitimate commercial prospects of our technology."

The technology permits TriMark(TM) to conduct business with customers from virtually any country in the world, without stringent regulations. According to Sibbett, "This provides a desperately needed service and creates a tremendous business opportunity for the Company and investors."

Sibbett further commented, "We are currently working out details, as one requirement from investors is that TriMark(TM) be spun off from NSHV into its own publicly traded company and traded on OTC.BB rather than OTC.PK. While working to accommodate this request TriMark(TM) assures NSHV and its shareholders maintain ownership in this asset, by providing shares via a stock dividend once formal terms have been completed. When final agreements are reached we will notify our shareholders and submit the appropriate SEC documentation."

NSHV also noted they have added Keli Brooks to the TriMark(TM) technical team, and will help in its development. "Ms. Brooks served as a key developer at Microsoft, and was a key team leader that helped develop the Cingular Wireless (now AT&T) Website. She will bring specialized expertise needed in the development of TriMark(TM)," Mr. Sibbett remarked.

Sibbett continued by saying, "We are also pleased to announce that Joe Mansfield has joined the TriMark(TM) management team." Mansfield is noted for his success as the past Vice President of CBS and RCA, and also served as VP of Marketing at Capitol Records and CEO of Asylum Records. Mr. Mansfield marketed some of the biggest acts in the world, including Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson, Willie Nelson, Neil Diamond, Kenny Rogers, and Aerosmith. He is currently the Marketing Director for Garth Brooks. The Mansfield/Brooks marketing plan has now sold over 128 million units, making Brooks the greatest selling solo artist of all time.

TriMark(TM) has received three support letters to date for the TriMark(TM) process; one from a publishing company, and two from record labels who will implement the technology, upon successful beta verification. One of the support letters is from Pearl Records, the Garth Brooks label.

Mr. Sibbett also addressed the company's intent to replace the previously announced warrant program. He remarked, "We recognize the problem with the illegal shares entering the market. As President of the company, I take personal responsibility to make amends with the loyal shareholders and the negative impact this illegal dumping caused. Any shares authorities could potentially recover will be returned to the company and retired to the company treasury. While authorities continue investigation and possible actions to recapture those shares from the market if needed, I will personally cover a stock dividend of 1 new share of NSHV stock for each 10 shares owned using my own personal shares." The Company will maintain the date of July 15, 2008, per the original warrant agreement, and will file the necessary SEC documentation in a timely manner to accommodate this.

In conclusion, Mr. Sibbett stated, "While Nashville Records is no longer the lead label in the USS New York project, the company will receive royalties from all sales associated in the commissioning of this ship which will commemorate the tragedy at the World Trade Centers. At this time, we do not have finalized dates of the commissioning ceremonies."

We are also happy to announce that the Company has retained a publicist for Jason Perkins and his second single is expected to release later this quarter. Sales for his first single will start to become visible in October. Jason's producer became ill, pushing the project back, but is now underway and will include top-shelf Nashville players. Unfortunately, we are unable to report sales of our Christmas album at this time as one of the distributors used, in business for 26 years, is closing its doors. We will advise sales as soon as possible.

NSHV has added a new Investor Relations person to the team. Mr. Skip Henderson has accepted the IR role. Updates on all of these items will be provided via a news release next month.
