Aiming, OT - Having several monitors per computer is a great idea. I'm not familiar with using mutiple tabs, but I'll check it out. Thanks for the tips.

Another factor to consider though is that if you're on a secure brokerage site that is protected by a password, using the same computer to simultaneously surf the rest of the web may bring up the possibility of another site's cookie/spyware getting access to your secure brokerage account. Using two different computers would seem more secure.

I figure having a 2nd computer is also a good backup in case the main computer has a component failure or otherwise shuts down. That happened to me a couple years ago, and I had to scramble to quickly buy another computer. It's amazing how dependent we've all become on computers and the internet.
