It may have to do with the amount of effort they would have to expend to satisfy the women. If the women are taking care of each other, the man feels that while his input is welcome (pun intended), fewer expectations are imposed. Actually, this theory was given to me by a man, and I adopted it because it sounds pretty rational. From an evolutionary standpoint, it works; because after watching two women fulfill each other the man (theoretically) wants to share his seed with both of them. The inverse doesn't work as well - if a woman enjoyed watching two men get it on, the available sperm in the scenario would already be spent where it wouldn't fertilize an egg which might also grow up to be a woman who enjoys watching gay men.
Or maybe that's just the Theraflu talking. This morning it had me thinking that typing on my computer was affecting my car somehow.
