American Water Works (AWK) Sees IPO Price of $24-$26

American Water Works Company (NYSE: AWK) has filed an amended registration statement with the SEC for an initial public offering of its common stock. The Company is offering 64,000,000 shares and expects the offering price to be between $24-$26 per share. The Company plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol "AWK".

The offering is being made through Goldman Sachs, Citi, Merill Lynch, Credit Suisse, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, UBS Investment Bank, Edward Jones, Janney Montgomery Scott, Societe Generale, Wachovia Securities, Boenning & Scattergood, Cabrera Capital Markets, Stanford Group, and The Williams Capital Group.
