Barham Saleh chaired the Executive Committee of the International

Met with the Executive Committee of the International Covenant document today, Saturday, and discussed preparations for the Conference of the International Covenant, which it is hoped held in the city of Stockholm in Sweden late next May.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Barham Ahmed Salih, attended Mr. Staffan de Mistura, the representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations in Iraq and the Finance Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Office and the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers and representatives of the secretariat of the International Covenant and the World Bank.

During the meeting also discussed the annual report of the International Covenant document and achievements of the Iraqi Government and the Portuguese international support for Iraq in support of the march of political and economic transformations and democracy.
