Sadr calls for the military expelled

طالب زعيم التيار الصدري في العراق مقتدى الصدر الحكومة العراقية باعادة العسكريين الـ 1300 الذين طردتهم "لتخاذلهم" عن اداء الواجب اثناء القتال الاخير الى الخدمة. Current student leader postpones Iraq Muqtada al-Sadr in the Iraqi government to the 1300 military who expelled "for action" on the performance of duty during the recent fighting to the service.
وجاء في بيان اصدره مكتب الصدر في النجف ان العسكريين الذين سلموا اسلحتهم الى رجال الميليشيات اثناء القتال الذي دار في الاسبوعين الاخيرين في البصرة والكوت انما كانوا ينفذون اوامر اصدرها مراجعهم الدينيون. A statement issued by Sadr's office in Najaf, the military handed over their weapons to militiamen during fighting in the past two weeks in Basra and Kut but had been following orders issued by the religious authorities.
ويعتقد ان غالبية العسكريين المطرودين هم من اتباع الصدر. It is believed that the majority of military expelled are followers of Sadr.
في غضون ذلك، قتل 15 شخصا على الاقل في تفجيرين وقعا قرب مدينة الموصل مركز محافظة نينوى الشمالية. In the meantime, killing at least 15 people in the bombings occurred near the city of Mosul in Ninawa Governorate Center North.
فقد قتل 12 من افراد قوات البيشمركة الكردية لدى انفجار عبوة في الآلية التي كانت تقلهم قرب الحدود السورية على مسافة 120 كيلومترا الى الشمال الغربي من الموصل. Have killed 12 members of the Kurdish forces PESHMARGA bomb explosion in the mechanism, which was travelling near the Syrian border at a distance of 120 kilometres north-west of Mosul.
وفي حادث منفصل، فجر انتحاري نفسه في موكب تشييع في بلدة تلعفر مما ادى الى مقل ثلاثة اشخاص واصابة اكثر من عشرة. In a separate incident, a suicide bomber blew himself up in the funeral procession in the town of Tall Afar, which led to killing three people and injuring more than a dozen.
وكانت القوات الامريكية قد اكتشفت في وقت سابق مقبرة جماعية تضم رفات 20 الى 30 شخصا بالقرب من بلدة المقدادية على مسافة 60 كيلومترا الى الشمال الشرقي من العاصمة العراقية بغداد. The American forces had earlier discovered a mass grave with the remains of 20 to 30 people near the town of Miqdadiyah, at a distance of 60 kilometres north-east of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.
بيان Statement
وجاء في بيان اصدره الصدر عن طريق مكتبه في مدينة النجف ان العسكريين الذين قاموا بتسليم أسلحتهم لرجال الميليشيات "إنما قاموا بذلك من منطلق حرصهم على طاعة قياداتهم الدينية"، مضيفاً أنهم "قاموا بما تقتضيه تعاليمهم وواجباتهم الدينية." A statement issued by Sadr's office in the city of Najaf, the military who surrender their weapons to militiamen "but did so keen on the basis of their religious obedience," adding that they "have, as required by their teachings and religious duties."
ودعا الصدر الحكومة لاعادة هؤلاء العسكريين للخدمة قائلا " لذا ادعو الجهات المختصة الى اعادة النظر في قرار ابعادهم من سلك الجيش والشرطة. بل واطالب بارجاعهم بعد تكريمهم على طاعتهم واخلاصهم لدينهم ووطنهم." He called on the government to re-Sadr these military service, saying: "I call upon the competent authorities to reconsider the decision of expulsion from the army and the police service. Even call for reinstatement after tributes to the attitude and dedication of their religion and their nation."
وكان الناطق باسم وزارة الداخلية العراقية اللواء عبدالكريم خلف قد قال يوم الاحد إن اكثر من 900 عسكريا قد طردوا من الخدمة في مدينة البصرة بمن فيهم 40 من كبار ضباط الشرطة. The spokesman for the Iraqi Interior Ministry Major General `Khalaf said on Sunday that more than 900 have been expelled from military service in the city of Basra, including 40 senior police officers.
وقال اللواء خلف إن 40 عسكريا طردوا من الخدمة في مدينة الكوت مركز محافظة واسط جنوب غربي بغداد التي شهدت هي الاخرى قتالا بين القوات الحكومية وقوات ميليشيا جيش المهدي الموالي لمقتدى الصدر. He said Major General Khalaf said that 40 military expelled from the service centre in the city of Kut, Wasit governorate south-west of Baghdad, which was also seen fighting between government forces and the Mahdi Army militia forces loyal to Muqtada al-Sadr.
واعترف الناطق باسم وزارة الداخلية بأن حوالي الف من افراد قوات الامن - بما في ذلك فوج مشاة كامل - رفضوا القتال او انضموا الى صفوف جيش المهدي. He acknowledged spokesman of the Ministry of the Interior that about one thousand members of the security forces - including the entire infantry regiment - refused to fight or joined the ranks of the Mahdi Army.
وقال: "لقد تعاطف البعض منهم مع هؤلاء الخارجين عن القانون، وقد رفض البعض المشاركة في القتال لاسباب سياسية او وطنية او طائفية او دينية." He said: "I have some sympathy with those whom the law breakers, some have refused to participate in the fighting for political reasons or national or ethnic or religious."
يذكر ان الهجوم الذي امر به رئيس الحكومة العراقية نوري المالكي شخصيا انتهي باتفاق تم بوساطة ايرانية انسحب بموجبه جيش المهدي من الشارع لقاء احتفاظه باسلحته. It is noteworthy that the attack was ordered by Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki personally ended agreement was mediated by Iranian Mahdi Army withdrew it from the street for keeping weapons.
ويقول المراسلون إن عدم تمكن الحكومة من اعادة السيطرة على مدينة البصرة رغم تفوقها العددي والناري كان مصدر احراج للمالكي، والقى بظلال كثيفة من الشك على قدرة القوات العراقية على تحمل المسؤولية الامنية في البلاد في حال انسحاب القوات الامريكية. Correspondents say that the inability of government to retake the city of Basra, despite the numerical superiority and the fiery source of embarrassment for the owners, and gave a thick cast doubt on the ability of Iraqi forces to assume security responsibility in the country in the event of the withdrawal of American forces.
