lycus of yore. You are correct in stating that the Lucent validation testing was limited. The test board assembly was short of parts that were required to test the board completely. Those parts simply didn't arrive in time for the validation testing. Also, if I remember correctly, there was a technical problem with one parameter, "noise". I believe this could have been corrected in short order. What needs to be remembered is that at the time Ray was receiving pressure from the bigger investors to show-and-tell.
