I visited a farm this week that is blending 20% cow manure (700 head) to leaves, tree cutting and yard waste from several of the towns around here. He gets tippings fees from the towns, then composting the material. He recieved certification from Wisconsin DNR, and reselling the results to landscaping companies in the area. They are using it as a top dressing for yards- and getting nice results.

I'm curious if this would work on a larger scale, such as a farm to cut back on fertilizer use
