Thanks, flicker. I'm sending out all of these articles. The shoddy reporting from the Pueblo Chieftain did GenoMed a disservice, however, by saying that the 79 year old Ohio man was responding to GenoMed's patent-pending drug for WNV. A lot of doctors, hospitals, health departments, etc. won't fool with a drug that hasn't been approved by the FDA, which would be patent-pending. That's one of the obstacles I ran into when I called Mississippi's State Health Dept, even though I explained to the obviously mentally handicapped woman I spoke with that the protocol that GenoMed uses is made up of prescription drugs that have been around for years. She replys, "Well then, what is the trial for?" I then asked if there was someone with more authority that I could speak to. She said no. I'll try again tomorrow. I'm also going to call the governor's office tomorrow.
