TORONTO, Jan 17, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Blackout Media Corp. (OTC: BKMP) -- The Board of Directors would like to clarify the ownership interest that Blackout Media has in Blackout Communications as it seems to be an area of confusion to investors. Blackout Media owns 20% of Blackout Communications, a private Canadian company who in turn owns The Fight Network, also a private Canadian company. The Fight Network holds the license granted by the CRTC to broadcast the digital channel in Canada.
