As per thousands of other posts on IHUB, Cornell uses NITE exclusively to trade. I dont know of ANY retailers that use NITE. So its a safe bet when you see NITE on the High BID and NITE on the low ASK you will see them walk it down. Of course when retail buyers get scared (lots of them use ETRD (ETRADE) they try to lower their ASK below NITE and sell before it crashes. It's a self perpetuating problem which then causes the spiral downwards. Funny thing is that Cornell can only trade 25% of the average daily volume. Well if the average daily volume is ZERO, guess what? They can't trade! Keep that in mind everyone.
