Afternoon to you all, haven't been on the board for a while.

I see there is a new topic it's being approached (a good one at that)

I believe the word of God is absolute and that no one can change it in accordance to their own interpretation. There is only one that reveals truth, that is the person of the Holy Spirit. "No one comes to the father except by me" the Holy Spirit was sent to reveal to us truth, and the truth is what sets us free (free from what) free from the lie!

Seems the more we try to figure out what God is doing the less we understand the truth of what He's doing. There is no greater power than prayer there is no greater action than obedience. The still small voice is still heard, and it is not a mystery (though it is very contradictory to the ways of men)

My hope is we do not start a band of zealots that actually feel they can make a difference to the will of God.

If these particular people which choose to twist Scripture (which has been the case for many years) choose to interpret what feels good to them, or what may seem to be right in the eyes of man, to speak out, in their own way the denial of Christ as the only way to the father, then we should humble ourselves and pray that God will forgive our sense and heal our land.

With the influence of so many people at the words of so many other people my prayers are the Holy Spirit would touch the lives in leadership of the masses, that they may see the truth.

We now as Spirit filled Christians that the truth is the only thing that sets us free (free to the reality of Christ) as the days grow shorter we see massive amounts of people influence by the words of other people. My prayers and hopes lie in the one true God who is able to meet and to reveal the truth of who he is, and his personal relationship with us through his son Jesus.

I pray daily for the new leader of the Mormon Church to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. I pray daily for the new Pope to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. I pray daily for Oprah Winfrey to be baptized in the Holy Spirit.

If jest these three were touched by the Spirit and realize the truth of Jesus Christ and the price he paid on the cross on behalf of our sins, if He knocked them from their horse and spoke to them about the truth of who He was, could you imagine the revival?

Am I afraid of these false teaching? No! They have existed amongst us for years. Have they affected the world and the way it operates? Of course they have (seduction toward self has been from the garden of Eden) do I know better than what these people are talking about? Of course I do, the Bible is very clear. Do I see religion standing in the way of relationship? Very much so. Do you serve a God who is able to speak the truth to those in need? Yes, I do believe we do. So what is my opinion (not that it would matter) we are to be as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves. Will we suffer for these particular objectives? Yes, in the world you will have tribulation, but do not be afraid for I have overcome the world.

Many people are just sermon oriented Christians. They have attended churches and seen denominations with different viewpoints and considered "that" their salvation. It is no wonder, that many are confused and easily led to the seductive self-centered understanding of the devil himself! So what is the answer? It's a very easily found in the Word of God. Let yourself be a living sacrifice, stand in the gap for those who are stranded.

What would Jesus do? Should this all happen in his day? Will it did, and the pathway is very clear "pick up your cross and follow me" Jesus has overcome the world, and its ways let your light so shine! Val
