Oremex intersects 4.12 ounces of silver per tonne over 485 feet at the Tejamen Silver property, State of Durango, Mexico
Tuesday April 13, 8:45 am ET

TSX Venture Exchange: ORM www.oremex.com
VANCOUVER, April 13 /CNW/ - Oremex Resources Inc. (TSX VEN:ORM) is pleased to announce excellent drill results (see table below) on its Tejamen Silver property, located in the State of Durango, Mexico. Recent drilling in the Cerro Prieto zone indicates a much larger and higher grade deposit than was originally envisaged by management. Wide intersections (up to 485 feet) in each of holes 13, 18, 27, 28, 29 and 33 exceeded 3 ounces of silver per tonne.
Drill hole 18 intersected silver mineralization from surface, and bottomed in similar mineralization at 656 feet (all of the holes were drilled at an angle of 60 degrees from surface), with the thickest intersection being 485 feet grading 4.12 ounces of silver per tonne. Another intersection in hole 18 assayed 5.53 ounces of silver per tonne over 20 feet.

To date, 8 "fences" of holes (with each "fence" being 50 meters, or 164 feet apart) have been drilled perpendicular to the strike of the mineralization. Along the fences, holes have been drilled every 30 meters (98 feet). The better intersections to date have been encountered in the last couple of holes drilled on the eastern end of each of the fences, resulting in the deposit being wide open to the east. In addition, the deposit is open along strike in both directions.

The Cerro Prieto zone is one of two silver zones identified to date on the Tejamen property. Drilling on the second zone (El Manto) has commenced, and will initially focus on "twinning" previous holes that generated high grade intersections (including one of 22.7 ounces of silver per tonne over 52 feet).

Oremex has an additional five properties located in Mexico, on which exploration programs will be undertaken during 2004.

Following are some of the recent apparent drill intersections on the Cerro Prieto zone - please see a drill location map on the Oremex website at www.oremex.com
