WOW--I finally realized-- we ourselves become, in essence, a unique new twist on SHORTS/FUTURES:

Because we were SOLD the RIGHT to REQUIRE the BUYING at a higher price by others, of the "non-shares" (or FUTURE PROMISES of our RIGHT to REQUIRE others to SELL "nonexistent" BCIT stock for OUR PROFIT).
