Roanoke Technology Corp. Announces January 2002 Sales Up 20.6% Over January 2001 Sales

ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C., Feb 12, 2002 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Roanoke Technology Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: RNKE)(RNKE) announced today that its sales increased in January 2002 20.6% over the same month last year. "Once again we are pleased to see our same month sales increase over the prior year," commented David Smith, President and CEO. "Over the past several months we have put a lot of effort into increasing our revenues. We've reduced costs, moved non-revenue employees into revenue-producing positions and eliminated some redundant management positions. The work is paying off, and we expect to see even greater improvements in the months to come. We will continue to focus on two basic principles: reducing expenses and increasing sales."
