2008-04-07 12:22:41 - Buzz Technologies Inc (OTC:BZTG) has reloaded their popular Mobile site mobi.12buzz.com to make the most of the new Internet Explorer Mobile(NASDAQ:MSFT).


The new service comes with the ability to "easily view full-screen web pages." A real bonus for the Buzz Mobile approach to the mobile web,Yes, we all know how much it sucks having to pan from left to right, up and down, just to see what we're actually looking at, Buzz expecting the new development redesigned the majority of their
web assets to fall in to a new Web or Mobile category. The full-page viewing is not the biggest selling point or bonus for Buzz users however.Where the new Buzz Mobile/IE Mobile version really shines is in multimedia playing support, showing love for H.264, Adobe Flash, Buzz Mobile Casino and Microsoft Silverlight. YouTube on the go, anyone? Buzz has it for you!

A number of new changes have been made to the system that effect messaging and enhance the expierence for Buzz users. For starters, the SMS system now has a threaded, IM like view, just as Palm smartphones and the Apple iPhone (NASDAQ:AAPL) have making it easy to use the Buzz Email to SMS feature. An update that brings the Standard edition of Windows Mobile a bit closer to parity with Professional, touch screen devices is the new multi-select feature. Multiple messages can be selected at one time using the d-pad and a shift key or by using the menu, and the messages can then be easily deleted or moved in one fell swoop making Buzz Email Anywhere a breeze to use.

The new copy/paste functionality also brings the Standard edition a bit closer to the Professional edition. While it doesn't work in all applications it does work with all Buzz Services, the text copy and paste function works in the message editors, the web browser, and the office applications.The new browser features let you move around large pages much more quickly. The new version of Pocket IE that is based on the desktop IE 6 engine won't be out until the end of the year, though it will be able to render full sized non-mobile websites at that time.
