Jessica, is this to be something like Youtube? This actually could be a fantastic idea…contrary to what I commented about on the ihub board if you saw that.
Keep plugging along. We rltr shareholders…some of us anyway… understand the difficult environment you all are working in. We appreciate your efforts. Thanks!

This will be much higher quality than YouTube. In fact, it will be just like a real film festival in every way save the fact that we will use the web - rather than a movie house - to show the films. We will select a program of films from our submissions and upload them to the aRTOFF site the same way that our current ReelTime.com content is available to subscribers.

Thank you for your comments. I am very exciting about heading up aRTOFF!

How long before Barry gets the “Grand Jury Prize?” I’ll bet it will not be too far in the future. There are too many angry people out here.

I don’t know what this means exactly but I am excited to see that the FBI has taken an interest in aRTOFF.

I own all rights to a film that is just completed. Since I cannot find your email, I will communicate with you here. How much do you pay for carriage of my film? How do I make sure I am receiving my fair share? Are all entrance fees covered by expected revenues from this digital distribution? Where are you going to be advertising for ARToff? What is the time frame for the festival? I have been unable to find any other nitices for ARToff. Do you plan a wide launch? When? How do you protect filmmakers from having their films copied?

In short, how do I know this is real? If it is, this is a great advancement. How do I apply?

Hi Film Maker! I assure you this is all on the up and up. As I said in the post, all will be revealed soon. We have not yet placed the official call for entries. I can tell you, however, that NO film festival pays their entrants for films. Not even Sundance. There is usually an entry fee and our festival will be no different. The winners will get free contracts with ReelTime which is essentially free distribution: an invaluable prize. The festival will run in September, 2008. Promotion will occur locally and nationally in film communities and schools.

I tried to respond to you in person but the email bounced back to me. Strange. Perhaps you typed it in wrong? We really do want to help aspiring filmmakers get exposure.
