The Enzyme Magic Grease & Waste Digester sold to Yum! restaurants is the same product keeping Fort Wayne sewers clean, while the Enzyme Magic No-Rinse Floor Cleaner uses enzymes to eat the grease off restaurant floors.

Using traditional cleaners, floors have to be wet mopped with cleaner, then scrubbed with a deck brush, then rinsed to remove the loosened grease. With this product, the enzymes actually eat the grease, creating huge labor savings and cleaner floors, Wasson said. With enzymes, there's nothing toxic and no environmental fallout.

Other restaurant chains are testing the product, and Enzyme Solutions is working to lure the biggest retail fish of all: Wal-Mart.
