(NASDAQ: TRFDF) announces today the acquisition of 100% interests in ECI
(www.eci.com.cn), through Beijing BHL Networks Technology Limited, a 76% joint
venture established by BHL Networks Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary
of the Company, and the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of
Science, at a consideration of approximately RMB 3.8 million. ECI, established in
1996, is the pioneer in providing Internet/Intranet security services and products in
the PRC market, including but not limited to, the development, implementation,
consultancy and system integration services. The SecureSuite, a self-developed
product of the ECI, obtains the recognized certification and approval by the State
Security Center and which has been widely applied by customers, such as, the China
Commodity Trading Market (the first Internet-based transaction processing and
settlement system in the PRC) and yestock (an Internet-based securit
ies trading). ECI is also one of the authorized agents for internationally
recognized security product suppliers like NAI, RADWARE, ISS and Netscreen.
