Same here in Tx. 10% ethanol in the gas. Good for the corn farmers, bad for food, meat and milk prices with feed corn going to ethanol production. Then, to top it all off, you get lousey gas mileage. I lost 20 to 25% of my gas mileage when they added the ethanol. It's a lose=lose w/ ethanol the way we're producing it. Big study done last year showed that the native prarie grasses in the U.S. would provide more ethanol per ton than corn AND the grasses will self renew without the cost of plowing, seeding or fertilization. Also much better for the envoronment (no added dust in the air from plowing, no fertilizer runoff into our water supplies) and it provides terrific wildlife food and habitat.
Guess it'n not hard to tell how I feel about our "gas stretcher" LOL
