BDGW.PK Has Come a Long Way Since 2001

Budget Waste, founded in 2001, was created to provide affordable waste management to commercial and residential customers. Since its humble beginnings, it has grown significantly, acquiring thirteen new companies and growing its market area considerably.

Acquisitions have added a lot of profitability to the company, helping it grow as fast as it has. These acquisitions have aided diversification into other related fields such as water removal and constructions site services, increasing the number and viability of revenue streams.

The company has acquired three water hauling companies over the past 8 years. Last year, it acquired 4M Water Hauling. In 2006, it acquired two leaders in water removal services. Provac, one of the largest liquid hauling companies in the Calgary area, was one such acquisition. Budget Waste operates seven of the latest Hydro-Vac trucks and serves many municipal customers, as well as oil fields. The other water hauling company acquired, Finnie Water Hauling Ltd, is fully focused on oil field and construction site cleanup with a guarantee of safety and professionalism.

Kosland Waste Removal Ltd is another company that has helped Budget Waste expand its product offerings. Kosland provides waste disposal to rural customers in Calgary, opening up a niche market for BDGW, which also acquired Construction Services Ltd, a rural waste disposal company based in the Alberta marketplace. Budget Waste also operates Hydro-Vac of Alberta.

To expand its offering to construction customers, the company acquired All Waste Systems Ltd and DB Waste Disposal Inc. All Waste Ltd is a leader in construction waste management boasting a fleet of 1300 bins and 15 trucks. The acquisition of DB allowed the company to offer portable toilet services to its customers, furthering its service offering with a trusted supplier having over 52 years of experience.

Rocky Mountain Waste Inc., another acquisition, is a leading residential waste hauler that serves 9000 homes. Recently the company also diversified into recycling services by acquiring PJ’s Waste and Recycling Services.

The company has come a long way from its single truck back in 2001, the year it was founded. The growth pattern has been excellent, and Budget Waste continues to diversify and grow the portfolio of their businesses and products. Such rapid expansion will likely put them on the map as a major, national waste disposal company within the decade.
