spider, first, it's not called insider information if it's made public.
They can announce anything they want to.
Second, it doesn't seem to matter if there is something or not, in my experience (about 25 years trading) people always run it up prior to a meeting.
Then, if nothing comes out, it drops back down.
You don't have to believe what I say, just watch and learn.
