george, you can see from my watch list that many more are confused by this question. it easily can be called wrong. personally, i think the bottom is more near $900, so i suspect there will be a test of a bit lower.

notice, bob3 posts of the Fed's present action is, they are draining. This action will cut the legs from the Gold prices if other Central Banks are too.

Commodities are still consolidating, except Wheat, Aluminum and Natural Gas which did not go up parabolically.

The gold stks that i show moving up today, did include AU but it was not in the 1% arena. Those lesser gold stks (EGO, TRE, NXG, BGO) are not leaders.

Question is, what catalysts are in the wind, that we can not yet see? We know not, what we can not see. It is at best, a speculative play which ever side one picks.

I play it overnight like a blind man. Over a weekend, is like a doubly blind man in a Sound Proof Room. It is guess work. I did not bet this weekend.
