Hello !! ....
"...The new Motorola Mobile Unit will be revamped with a management shake-up from middle levels up...
LMAO !! Where did you pull that from ??
Let me just give you a little background here, the management has already been shaken up.
Motorola's CEO, CTO, CMO have all departed, along with several managment people at all levels. This has been going on since early 2007. There is nothing to shake up.
"... What this means for One Voice Technologies should be fairly obvious. That there will be no near term "VR deals" forthcoming is a foregone conclusion due to the Motorola restructuring process. Also highly likely is that "contacts" at Motorola for which the recently hired Steve Zielke was brought on board will be lost...."
Fairly obvious ?? ... will be lost ? ..., surely you jest !
Absolutely not, instead this will hasten the process. They will more than likely embrace cutting edge features that ONEV can offer. Motorola is looking to incorporate new technologies that twill give them an edge. A new 'Razor" so to speak.
This is great news for ONEV, it may even speed the process up. It most certainly will improve the relationship. This is very positive for ONEV.
Also, this move is not a surprise to anyone, well almost anyone. Icahn has been pushing this ad nauseum, for quiet a while. That incorrect analysis has about the same margin of error as the ONEV to NUAN CEO comparison, a significant number.
"... highly likely is that "contacts" at Motorola for which the recently hired Steve Zielke was brought on board will be lost..."
LOL !!, "lost" Those are the new people, they are post "shake up" They recently hired a new controller too, from Boston, I believe.
