Sharing Knowledge in Smallcaps

I dunno, Tim. What do I do here? I'm not much into the "hype" idea, but, like most folks, I have opinions. You might want to go over and peek at the Transmeta (TMTA) Board. I own a bit of Transmeta and just added a little more last Friday.

Here's why:

1) TMTA has a good product; a processor that uses less power and generates less heat than those made by Intel.

2) Because of the design of the processor, it can run Intel software.

3) It had severe production problems, and the stock tanked.

4) The fabricator of their chips seems to have gotten its act together. They were to reach full production this month (February).

5) The technical picture seems favorable.

On the downside is that we are currently in a market slump and the techs are not exempt.

You pays your money and you takes your choice.
