North Star Diamonds, Inc. Reports Positive Progress on Wekusko Lake Program

BELLINGHAM, WA, April 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - North Star Diamonds, Inc. (NQB Pink Sheets: NSDM - News) announces successful completion of the geophysical work on Phase 2 of the Company's comprehensive 4-Phase diamond exploration program being conducted this year in the Province of Manitoba, where NSDM controls a total of 104,523 acres of very promising land.
The experienced firm of J.B. Sigfrid & Associates performed the geophysical work and located three good anomalies with the use of computer assisted aeromagnetic surveys.

CEO Walter Stunder, commented, "We are very excited about these initial results and this particular area, as this is where the only known kimberlite dyke in Manitoba was previously discovered in 1992." The Wekusko Lake program (Phase 2) is located approximately 354 miles Northwest of Winnipeg.

A work permit for initial drilling was issued on April 5th The Company is now assembling its crew, and drilling is scheduled to commence on or about April 16th.

Future press releases will report on the drilling progress as well as the completion results of Phases 3 and 4.
