that is exactly what it means, otherwise, they shouldn't have said this:

"This is to allow marketing materials to be completed and to prepare for an official unveiling ceremony for the general public"

that statement implies that during that 6-8 week period marketing materials would be completed and teh unveiling ceremony would be completely prepared for. again, the details are due, or they are liar in my book.
