i'm going to post this one more time

one year ago ..
aero came to market
primarily thru
independent dealers

these are small *mom and pop* type
shops .. or as some who make phone
calls discovered individual franchises ..

aero has been going to market thru
these shops since their early days
<it's why they've been ref'd to as
aero's bread and butter>

does that mean an indy dealer who
owned .. a shop in 2003 and did
sell aero products .. still owns
that shop? .. that is why when i
call .. i ask to speak to the manager
not some guy who was hired last year
and has no knowledge of that *shops*
history ..

aero also had a few *regional* distributors
in the traditional form .. the company in nc
who has 40 shops .. comes to mind among others

collectively those no.s do add up to 1000
which is why i feel quite comfortable using
it .. that is why .. when i asked questions
of the *manager* .. i specifically asked
do you carry aero? .. can you tell me how
your customers *know* of aero? have you had
any complaints of the product once it's been
installed? and on average how many
products do you sell per month?

it's not rocket science

now fast forward to this year <technically
last october> when aero .. pr'd their first
major automotive warehouse distributor

to last month's pr re: henschel and sons
another automotive warehouse distributor

i'm not doing the dd for folks .. but it
is a very different type of *sales* and
*coverage* than the mom and pop style
*indy* dealers ..

these are states that are covered

20000 shops in total now .. is probably
*conservative* .. but that is ok

and don't put words in my posts that never
existed in the first place -- i never said
they were flying off the shelves

however i do know that buyback program
which has been *mocked* here has been
very successful .. specifically where
henschel is a *factor*

i can't help that some can't ascertain
stocking distribution that requires 3 months
inventory in one case or 1 month's inventory
in another <that would be product on a shelf>
.. vs an indy dealer who may sell
4 mufflers on avg per month .. and as i discovered
tend to only order product .. so many times per year

10/5/07 -- there are no coincidences here ...
oh and like many other longs .. not selling at this level --
