Sadr City , this the poorest of the poor of Iraq, the Shias of Baghdad, may well be considered "expendable".
Here is a slum of an estimated 2million that were living under the merciless boot of Hussein, that had themselves been forming their own militia BEFORE we invaded and they were creating that militia in order to fight a resistance against Hussein; BUT when it comes to time to form a Governing Council they are told "get lost"( they are on the U.S. "not them" list) you do NOT count and we defranchise the biggest concentration of poor and victims of Hussein in one cruel anti-democratic move and make them our enemy--and likely on purpose---except , i may be underestimating the bottomless stupidity of the occupiers "plans".
