Heh, just heard an interview with a Marine on NPR. SOme guy was embedded with his unit, and wrote a book about him (and the rest of the unit). So, the reporter (by the virtue of her profession you can guess where her bias is) tried hard to have him say something like "oh, I feel so bad for shooting at the poor downtrodden people there", or something of the kind. But the most interesting part was the guy who wrote the book about this. The NPR reporter asked him something like, "how did you feel when the convoy you were a part of shot two little Afghan boys?". There I thought they shot 5or 6 year olds, but apparently one was 14 and the other one was 16. It's not a BOY in Afghanistan, not after 13! And they were running towards the convoy with backpacks. Anyway, the wroter said, "I felt very safe. The gunner picked them with such precision and at such a long distance. I figured, sitting next to this gunner was the safest place I could be in right now" :)

Gotta look up the podcast of this when they release it.

The usuals, whatever I post is my opinion, yaddayaddayadda. I'm still learning this, so if you listen to me, well, good luck to you :)
