Until recently I have been in sales of my own business. My style was to be laid back with my customers and very aggresive with my suppliers. At first I found it totally amazing that some suppliers & manufacturers would have such long lead times. I spun my wheels trying to get them to speed up. Then after I had a good feel for what my sales were at the time and what I anticipated down the road, it made life much easier. I could put in blanket orders with set monthly shipments, and 95% of the time it went very smoothly. With the amount of orders SEVU is receiving, there is just no way they can come close. It is a business chain and the companies that are supplying parts to SEVU, also have other customers. It will take a little time for them to fit into what needs are on both sides.
Personally I think things are going great, I have put away my fine tooth comb, and will wait for things to fall into place.
