US 1 is closrd down.Hope you aren't cauught in it.If you are just turn around and spend an extra day in paradise.It was on the Miami/Ft Lauderdale tv.Most be a death involved.Then a long investigation and tie up.Be careful on the 18 mile strech out of the Keys.I saved a girls life there a few years ago.She was thrown from the car into the swamp.I could hear her screaming .I got within 1 foot of her and couldn't see her.She was covered with swamp grass.She had a brokrn leg.I dove in the water when I heard her screaming.She was air borne for 40 feet.I didn't even stop to get my wallet out of my pocket.I got her to shore .Life flight took her to Miami.I met her and her husband at the site weeks later.She said I was her knight in shining armor.Two others were killed on contact.She was thrown
out the window.The highway patrol told me the crash was so hard that if she had ,had a seat belt on she would have died.From the head on impact.The sawgrass cushioned her landing.Just a little tidbit.Enjoy yourself.When you going home. Of did you catch the KEYS DISEASE,and decide not to leave.
